Don't know about the joints, but it is good for the blood.
Garlic is supposed to be anti-bacterial (against the nasty ones, that is) and enhances the immune system.
But I tend to eat it because I like the taste. Chopped garlic with freshly grated ginger to start a stir fry, whatever veg you throw in after that, it will be a chinese dish. Finish with a few drops of sesame oil.
I don't think I could survive without the allium family. They make every dish special, don't they? Garlic is my above all favourite and seems to have innumerable health advantages too. BTW Tim, re another garlic thread :I got Marshall's catalogue through the post yesterday and they have pink garlic.
