Title: Any time for a lottie ???????
Post by: broad beannie on June 21, 2007, 12:05:43
Since joining this site a couple of weeks ago I have become addicted !!
But I do wonder how any of us get any work done on our allotments as we always seem to be reading each others posts and replying to them !!
By the way, this is the first time I have ever grown anything in my life but with some expert advice from a friend and my lottie book so far all seems to be going well ( touch wood )
Will let you all know when I get first harvest - already had a couple of spring onions but nothing much to shout about !!

Yes, the forum is addictive!  possibly more so because the weather has been so bad lately.  I am supposed to be working at the moment - but ... ... ...  ;) ;)

I popped over there last night to refix my netting on cabbages, and it was so dry I had to water some of the plants.  ;D ;D ;D

Surprised you had to water cornykev as we have had so much rain lately !
Been tipping down for much of today. I live in Devon and I don't think it will get better for the rest of the rest of the week. Hopefully will be better by Sunday as daughter is going to a horse show !!!!

We've been having Sun  8) and showers on and off all week. I just set up a picnic  ;Dfor the girls in the garden it was lovely sunshine, ten minutes later the heavy showers were back ???, but the sun 8) comes out and everythings bone dry, I know the soils wet inches down but the top soil is cracking but I'm only watering young plants.  ;D ;D ;D
