Title: Glyphosphate vs Pampas Grass

I spray the perimeter of my plot with glyphosphate using a pressure sprayer.If I used it on my large pampas grass would it work?

Doubt it!  I guess you would require something like SBK (from Vitax)

Does pampas grass have a natural coating on the leaves to prevent water evaporating?  If so, since the glyphosate is absorbed through the leaves, it might not work.  Try it and see?

Sad to say but its got to go.I have had it for at least 25yrs and moved it once but its gotto go now.

SBK only works on dicots, not on monocots.  If you can bear to have the ground vacant for two or three months afterwards use Ammonium Sulphamate.
