hi my new potato's have not yet flowered yet but the leaves are going yellowish with Wat looks like rust and getting holes in the leaf the potato is called Swift first time i have grown them last year grew a diffrent kind and had no problems
Don't wait for the flower Sid, reef around and have a butchers. ;D ;D ;D
When did you put the seed pots in? Swift is a quick maturing one which takes about 9-10 weeks to produce spuds. Probably reaching the end of its growing period. Swift doesn't flower.
When did you plant them? I grew them this year in buckets on the patio (and have grown them before).
They have a very short growing period around 8-10 weeks, don't flower (well i never gave them the chance lol) and from buckets are a perfect early summer salad welcome to the new growing year. :)
if in doubt take a piccy and post it, but i suspect they have come to the end and are ready for harvest :)
planted them 2nd week in April didn't know they flowed thanks will dig one up and see tomorrow will let you know
I got my first crop of spuds today, talk about heaven.
