Hi all
I've finally got round to posting some pics of my garden, took these in May. I wish I had taken some last year when I started in June - it was just a big patch of weeds then with a greenhouse and a rhubarb patch.
Of course this weeks rain means the weeds have gone berserk >:(
That looks good to me, you must have worked hard to turn it round in less than a year. Hope you get good crops.
Lorna
brilliant plot, calamity jane, you've worked very hard, hope you get lots of stuff from it ;D
I like the way you've split it into manageble size sections. You can always see progress that way. Looking good.
Looks really well. That tunnel looks interesting ..Any chance of a close up ?
Cheers. Jim
I just love the fancy door. A chappie on our site has built the back of his shed with 2 doors. Looks strange but does the job. Well done, the plot is coming along great
:) Thanks or all the nice comments. Of course after all the rain, we can hardly see anything but weeds now.
I can't claim any credit for the door - it was there when we got the plot.
Jim - I will try to remember to take some pics of the polytunnel when I am down later in the week. It is made from old floorboards, fenceposts and pallets, we got the cover last weekend. Haven't worked out what we will do about the door yet ::)
My Hub is a bit of a womble at heart, it's always interesting to see what use he will come up with for discarded things - in fact he is much more interested in constructing things than planting <grin>
But then he used to be a builder. He made all the fencing out of pallets and scrounged loads of old stone flags and church floorboards from an old workmate who still is in the building trade.
