... or you could start building an ark. ;)
Mrs Noah: You promised you'd fix the goat pen!
Mr Noah: But God told me to build this. Look, he's given me instructions and everything.
Mrs Noah: Any excuse! ::) Ever heard of 'displacement activity'?!
I do have a huge cake to do for a school thing next week,4 tiers,I could start that a bit early!! XX Jeannine
Hope you have a good day, whatever you decide to do ;D
Make the most of it!
OH I had no idea you worked in a school Jeannine - what do you do? I wish our school would flood!!!
I am the Home School Liason
Yep, had enough of this rain now in Yorkshire! Son in Hull said his road is flooded, and York races abandoned so groups of disgruntled men wandering from pub to pub all day- not much fun for anyone. Daughter said it's all my fault for saying it's good for the garden!
Throat infection this week, so my only day in! It didn't rain much in Leicester... Coventry got it all!
;D
Please post us a pic of the cake - hope you had a good day
a 4-tier cake ... sounds heavenly, yum
I'll post a picture if it turns out good, if it doesn't I won't!!!
LOL jeannine - I'm sure it will be fine! so looking fwd to the pics!
Learning Mentors are in my library at work - bad design but hey ho... interesting work though hey jeannine? I love working with teenagers - just some of the adults hey! Most are great though thank god!
I actually work in a Primary School, my brief is to raise attendance, decrease exclusions, support Mums and Kids with all manner of problems, and encourage parents to come into school and get involved.I look after all the volunteers in school, do the students placements that come from the colleges. I organise all the classes for parents, and we have done a lot now, I am on my second year of running TA courses.I do a home visit to every child that comes to our school and for pastoral and other reasons I do about 4/5 home vists a day on average. I am available to both Mums and children if they need help with anything really , and I am usually at any child protection meetings.
I teach the Family Links Nuturing Programme, a 10 week course for learning new parenting skills. Like a Supernanny idea.
I do quite a lot of counselling too, which is my background.

Gosh sounds like you are doing a fantastic job there! I know Hull and know the problems they have, they are lucky to have you!
