Title: white insects eating potatoes!
Post by: barkingdog on June 09, 2007, 09:14:48
Hi,

I've just started to dig my spuds and have found tiny (1cm) long white insects which appear to be feeding on the tubers. They had lots of legs along their body and tiny antennae. I can best describe them as looking like baby centipedes! Do you think that's what they are or is it something more sinister?

mine are more like insects than grubs. I'm really not sure what they are as wireworms are yellow/brown I thought?
