Title: What a beautiful evening...
Post by: flossie on June 08, 2007, 21:46:27
... the first time that we have sat outside and had dinner this year.  I almost feel as though I am on holiday.  I hope that others have had a good Friday night too...

It's been peeing down most of the day here - thunder & lightening this morning & really chilly - got the heating on. Not fair!

I totaly agree, delightfull evening after such a warm and humid day. I was out in the garden until 7.30, had a meal then went back out to do a spot of watering from 8.30 to 9pm. I then sat out in our conservatory with the doors and windows open from 9 until 10. No TV or music just peace and quiet and the occasional bird call. Lovely!

Such a great evening I've just come in... had a couple of beers out on the plot... it adjoins our garden!

i was dragged kicking and screaming away from the lottie (no fair) and down to Ayr to see one of our mates.

It was a glorious evening.

The sun is out now as well, let's hope it lasts the weekend.

I am also nicely toasted.  An absolute scorcher !

My poor beans were looking a bit limp though, think it was too hot for them.  :o

Im sure it was a nice evening, it looked lovely from my office window  :(  It was really mild and humid all night too...Think I may struggle for sleep today.... night shifts always get in the way of a decent weekend.

Hope you all have a cracking day on the plots

regards

Matt

Not such good weather on the East Coast, been told its been dull and miserable since last Sunday.  We had glorious sunshine while we were away and they are still having the sun but not in the scottish borrrrders as Sarah used to say.  Still, its fine for me, at least there is NO WIND and that makes it fine.

;) ;) ;)

Very dull here all day too but mild with no wind - good growing weather I always think.  :)

Very warm and humid here in Winchester, rain threatened (we were doing a rain dance) but never really arrived.  It's a lot cooler now, half past 10, and the forecast is cooler for the rest of the week.

Hi Flossie. Has been glorious down here. Nothing done on lottie, owed the girls a weekend of fun so lots of beach and swimming and tramping through the forest. Felt like a holiday, was lovely.  :-*
