Wish mine were!
wow, soon have your first fruits, our tigerella are going crazy ;D
Already have fruits on first trusses in cold GH. 2x Shirley, 2x GD, and 2x Tamina. Tamina fruits are already over 1".
Just removed a few of the lower leaves too.
Tumblers have produced 3 ripe fruit today, they are always the first for me.
Ok to try and redeem what dignity i have left, look at these.
Bit better than last year eh??
It has one main stem not five!
;)

I had to move two plants out side coz the Sungold are very large.
So I now have 12 plants inside
;D I still have a few with multiple stems (lopped some off though) maybe next year I'll get it right and nab them before they grow too far...
seems to be gardners delight and sungold it happens to the most..
over crowding in the triffid house meant 4 of Supersprout's Pineapples are now having to brave the wild outdoors.
One fruit set !!!! Just ONE fruit !!!! from 39 odd plants and numerous trusses.
Various multiple stems that I've not caught in time. Given everything without a truss a good haircut. Probably stressed them all into a state of shock.
Next year it will be a less is more policy !
;D
Getting my first fruit on the Sungolds, and was also surprised last night that one of my Alicante has a pretty big fruit.
Here is the sungold ones.

Seems the biggest tomato has stopped swelling, any ideas?
btw - MrsKP was having a look at your site last night again, its all looking really good and your plot looks ace.
Seems Glasgow is getting better weather than Stirling.
this is the mad golden sunrise, lots of fruit forming and still less than 4'tall, also, one of the tigerella's looking promising ;D
Well done, whats your secret? Mine are almost to tall now, well some of them are.
I think next year I shall keep them in the pots for a bit longer.
muck in the borders, a bottle to feed them buried at the side, spray with dilute comfrey/seaweed spray once a week ;D
mine are only in black buckets so i suppose that makes quite a big difference.
Should have some ripe fruit by the end of July
We are picking fruit from our Sungolds now, just a few, and of course the Tumblers too.

So unfair! ;)
Chris I have to be truthful and say out tender stuff is started very early under lights and with heat, which is an unfair advantage. It is just that I grow some tom varieties that have a very long maturity date and I wouldn't get them to harvest if I didn't do it this way, so the early ones mature faster.

cheers chris, with mum being up, i've hardly had time to look at anything for the past week and with yesterday's occurrences, i don't think i'll get much done until the weekend. just hope the weeds haven't taken over by the time i get back in action.
weather has been atrocious for the past couple of days and due more of the same this week.
ain't life on the plot grand.
;D
