Anyone identify this beetle...thought it might be a rose chafer beetle but can't seem to find any pictures like it. All help appreciated. Thanks

Don't know what it is, sorry, but it's beautiful. Like a little jewel! I hope it's a white hat. :)
You might try a search on Chrysochus auratus. Although it's just a guess.

Seems to attack Rosemary and Lavender. Not a goody.
