Hi everyone,
I have been talked into joining your group by Jeannine who says I need more interfacing with the real world.
Please let me explain, I'm not really a gardener more a builder. My knowledge of plants and such is low but I can build sheds, raised beds, fences and greenhouses. Laying paving stones, rototill, watering is also in my portfolio. Sadly weeding, planting and other such tasks are only fair to poor.
Rupert Bear. (aka John)
welcome, john, nice to meet you at last..there'll be lots of questions on this site you will be able to answer, then
about all the 'hard ' landscapng on a plot ;D
Hello John, lovely to hear from the man himself at last. Love the name too. ;D

Welcome from me John and good to meet you on Saturday. Sounds a bit like me & Peter - he does all the heavy digging & making raised beds & of course his pride & joy, the pond, & then calls me to ask if a plant is a weed or a flower. Team work that's what it's all about. :)
Hi Rupert Bear - I have a vacancy at my plot for a man of your fine skills ... just let me know when Jeannie can spare you !! Hope you enjoy looking around.

You took the words right out of my mouth !! ;D ;D ;D
I knew I was going to miss lots by not getting to Barnsdale ... :'( Welcome RB ;)
TO All the members of the GROUP!
Please excuse my slowness in answering but I always have been one to put off tasks if possible, ( although the gaffer cracks the whip ) but eventually I do respond. So please BEAR with me and I shall to be more responsive. So to all my new friends I will make an effort to be a bit more forthcoming with my replies. By the way Jeannine is not a hard task master, I do tend to day dream and my memory is not to hot. To all of you who sent me a message I thank you and hope we will be able to share more happy chats.
Best wishes to all of you, Rupert Bear (Jeannine's John!!!!!)
How I love your avatar, RB. A trip down memory lane... ;D
