Post by: Biscombe on June 02, 2007, 07:33:21
Hi all, hope you can come to the rescue, do you have any tried and tested tayberry recipies? I have my first ever soft fruit glut!!!!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D
BUT apart from eating them with home made yoghurt don't know what else to do!!
Jam would be nice!

They make a beautiful ice-cream. And the jam is nice, although we normally use loganberries because we grow more of those. (It's a very easy jam to make, and quick-setting.) And good as a jelly as well; I normally make a small batch as it's handy to have something like that to stir into a sauce for lamb chops or liver or something. And the whole berries go well as a sauce/garnish for duck (a change from orange sauce).

Sorry if these are vague suggestions rather than recipes. I'm not very good on the precise Delia stuff!
