I've got a Ford P100 pick-up that can be used to transport allotment stuff, or any other stuff, across the UK.
Obviously it would be better to do local stuff (in the East Midlands region) but anywhere else in the UK would be fine.
I'll charge mileage (at cost) and an hourly rate or a 'swap' for seeds and chickens!

I'll give you a cockerel if you get me out of Belgium! ;)

SOMEBODY'S NICKED THE VAN :'(
Oh Trixie sorry to hear of your loss, do you use it every day? Why can't people leave things alone? Even the small things which are stolen can be upsetting. I had a "tower" of flowers hanging on my side wall, went to water...GONE!! Son fixed up a light that operates by body heat but since then I wire everything to brackets.
Oh Trix, what rotten so and so would do that,I hope you are well covered for the loss. XX Jeannine
I'V GOT IT BACK ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Woman across the road saw it parked up a side street this morning!
They tried to burn it out but only managed to scorch one seat. Minimal damage to locks etc.
WOOHOO ;D
Can anyone recommend THE VERY BEST steering wheel lock in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD?
Leave a bucket of nettles in the van, the stench will keep them at bay. :'( :'( :o ;D ;D ;D
Just seen this thread am so glad you got your van back! ;D Even though not quite in the same condition.
so glad you got it back, trixie..and that it wasn't a write off :)
Oh gosh Trixie, in these blooming days that was lucky. Really glad for you.
Buy a Rottweiler and kennel him in it, best deterrent I can think of.
XX Jeannine
Glad you got it back, that was a stroke of luck. Now you're back in business! :)
Thanks :)
I'm a bit sentimental about that van - silly really ::) Got to let go of 'sentiments attached to objects' I think.
Paid £300 for it and it chunters along like a PROPER car and you have to DRIVE IT! Unlike my other car that's an automatic, 'sod-off' convertible sports car ::)
I'd rather that went missing than my little van :)

YAY! WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS ;D
Great news Trixie! Don't know the name of it, but there is a lock which is screwed into the floor of the vehicle, and a horseshoe-shaped metal bit that goes round the gear stick, then locks. Suppsed to be really good, will try and find the name...
;)
How does the steering wheel fasten on? In down town Leeds we used to take the steering wheel off the Mini and take it with us to stop the little S*ds stealing it!
;D
Yippee! I'm so pleased you got it back.
Why would anybody want to steal a p100 pickup? getaway car, no, joy riding noo, needed to move something quickly, nooo, even with a full tank they will run out after 3 miles, they won't even burn properly. Go to your local asylum to find the culprit, they will still have the white knuckles.
It had been cross-country Ace! Covered in mud and grass. Definitely joy-riding I reckon. Little gits ....
Take out the distributor rotor when you leave it, they may have fun trying to start it, but it won't go anywhere.
illegitimis nil carborundum :-*
You could try one of these. ::)
