Have been growing some Tomatoes in my garden but they look very poorly. Never had this problem before. Any advice please.(//)

I can see 3 problems. Aphids sometimes cause the curled leaves, but I'd guess that sporadic watering could be to blame.
The yellow patches between the leaf veins are due to a lack of nitrogen.
The odd purple patch visible on a far leaf in the first picture is due to lack of potassium.

I'd suggest a good liquid feed specific to tomatoes. They also like lots of light.

could also be a spot of cold..the second one has good new colour on it, so, all is not lost  :)

Thank you guys Gonna go feed them now..Just on bottle it says don't feed until first flowers but I trust you lot more than the bottle

I have some very sick ones but they have been in yogurt pots for about a fortnight too long...
