Nothing wrong with links,PS. Great article- now I understand your username!
My next door neighbour at the allotment is also in his 20's and has had his plot for 2 years
think that it is great that you youngsters are taking an interest in veggie growing
by the way is it Hoole in Chester you have your plot?
the picture on the article is very becomming, much better than the one your using. ( in my humble opinion )
Good Work though!
Derby Evening Telegraph coming to our open day Sunday and doing an article for the Picture edition next week!

That's one of the reasons I wanted a lottie to share in the delights and pick the brains of more experienced lottees.
My back garden plot is all very fine and dandy, but I love the chatter that comes with life on the lottie.
Just wish I had an OH who shared the dream. Ah well, can't have everything can well.
Well done you mate.
very well put you have a way with words :)

Your allotment site looks a bit better than ours. We've got one at Handbridge in Chester
great article - it pretty much sums up what I love about my lottie too
Fab article and very well written ;D
Good for you and congrats on coming out of the closet.....or should that be shed?

Great article PS, I'm a very young 43 and my mates still take the piss out my lottie, still a few have come round especially when there walking their dogs and looking for a bit of freebee veggie. As for coming out the closet, its the don't like football bit that worries me. ;D ;D ;D
Thanks for all the comments guys - really appreciated!
I've just read it, great stuff, i have an allotment, and am 27 years old for me it is an escape from the problems that surround my everyday life, yes friends mock me, but as soon as i bring in the goods there like do you have anything spare! In which i reply so your interested now!
The people on my plot are great a real mixture of ages and abilities, like you say there always there to offer help and advice. I enjoy going to my plot first thing in the morning, it's amazing especially if you see the sunrise, hear the birds, it makes you stop and think! Anyway keep up the writing, may be this could be a regular feature in your paper, they don't have anything like that here in north notts where i live and at the moment there's not even a waiting list for a plot! I think it might be the only place in Britain!
