Oh lucky, lucky you. Can you put me in your pocket please? Certainly one of my parents favourites and mine. When I saw her on television few months ago she was addressed as Dame Vera. Apparently it was 10years ago when she last sang in public. Wonder if you will be able to take any photos.

Aha! A voice from space. Hope all's going well.

I even had a haircut this am. Now got to decide whether to wear blue or green!!

Not just the person or the voice but, for one, the White Cliffs of Dover were what made our hearts return to normal when returning from a sortie over France.

An easy way to spoil the illusion (& who cares??) is to view the check list:

1. Clean hankie.

2. Camera batteries.

3. Hearing aid battery.

Two lovely ladies there and half a man, is that you Tim?   I am pleased the day went well.  I was wondering when the Dame Vera occasion was going to appear again.

Enjoy? Great to meet Vera - a bundle of fun -  but a very long day, with 3 hours driving & 4 hours signing.
