What sort is she?  Even hybrids who lay most days do take the odd day or two off, purebreeds often longer.  If she is othewise healthy I shouldn't worry at all.  I find giving them a good talking to usually helps.  :)

Mmm, well a black rock [assuming she is not geriatric] should be laying virtually every day or that's what it says on the tin!  I have never had any though I did try & get some earlier this year there were none available in these parts.

If you are worried I would suggest isolating her & giving her treats like bread & milk & cheese - for the protein & seeing what happens.

Any signs of moulting which would also explain the lack of eggs but unusual if this is her first year.

That's probabaly it then, she won't lay while she's broody then she should go into the moult - hopefully it won't all take too long!

If she's otherwise healthy & happy, Phil, I really wouldn't worry about her.  She'sll come back into lay in her own time.  How old is she?
