Title: Frost Schmost!! I've planted out the sweetcorn!
Post by: Mrs greenjeans on May 18, 2007, 20:20:06
Couldn't stand watching it getting eaten by snails in my plastic greenhouse, and this was my only free day for the next five. 15 plants in a square of 5 x 3 plants (better for cross fert? I was told)

I'm in not very sunny surrey and I'm probably rushing things, but it felt really nice & it makes my plot look a bit loved in between all the nettles and stickyweed.

how soon can I put out the squashes, Jeannine?

Have you got some fleece just in case? and remember a cold cutting wind can do just as much damage. Ours are still in the greenhouse!
;D

Thanks for the warning.  I was really worried last night as it was quite chilly here & windy but the squash & beans seem to be ok today so fingers crossed.
