Title: VILE things on my lettuce and calendula..help please
Post by: Trixiebelle on May 18, 2007, 15:24:27
URRRGGHHHH! WHAT ARE THEY?

Sorry, haven't got a photo.

They look like beetles but their bodies are squidgy like caterpillars. Dark greeny/brown with small reddy/yellow spots on them. But they've got horrid little insecty black legs  :P

Only about half a centimetre long.

PLEASE HELP!

P.S. I hadn't been drinking either!

OOH Belinda! I think that's what they are  ;D  THANK YOU!

What's that old saying? Never judge a book by it's cover!

I will say good morning to them tomorrow and offer to share my ham sandwiches  ;D

I think they're kind of cute in a strange way, really ugly but good guys - scale them up in size and they could be straight out of Jurassic park!

I could say the same about most of my 'human' allotment neighbours Belinda  ;D
