I noticed the FIRST RIPE STRAWBERRY  :) on my plot yesterday.
And of course I couldn't resist it   ;) ;D.

Ive had 2 and something had eaten the 3rd, should have covered them but rain stopped play.   :D

Mind you, the plants are looking very healthy.  We lost one at the end of the bed when a tree branch fell on it during a storm, but it could have been a lot worse. :)

I am picking mine from the glasshouse since yesterday,a real taste of Summer. Of course the birds have already found their way in through the ventilation.(http://C:%5CDocuments%20and%20Settings%5CAntz%5CDesktop/Strawberries)

mine are still green and varying sizes i know its very selfish but i hope they dont ripen just as the step children arrive to stay i want them all for me ha ha my parrot is very partial to them too !!!
