Title: Leggy carrot seedlings. Help!
Post by: Twospot Ladybird on May 15, 2007, 20:07:08
I got some carrot seedlings from the Nursery School that my daughter attends,  they are very leggy. Is there anything I can do?

Plant 'em out quick?

Dig out a little trench with a trowel, fill it with compost, and plant them reasonably deeply.  The rain will water them in.  :)

So they can be planted deeper then?

They were started off indoors, so I'm starting to harden them off. I think I should be able to grow them on in a large container, the seedlings are Baby Round.
