Hey woody, looking great there ;D hope you had a good day! We came over to Grantham today but only as far as Halfords (alloys for my new car ;) ) so didn't make it into the market. Best of luck for next week too ;D
Looks so professional well done! Please tell us how the day went.
Unleash the cash!!
At least the goods don't wilt if they don't sell?
looks v professional, glad it went well :)
The day wen't very well, grantham at present is full of roadworks and we had a few showers, but all in all a wonderful day, looking forward to next sat, and now people have bought and seen me it can only get better, trouble is working shifts as well.........there is never enough hours in the day, we are off and running at last :P
Our chilli toms are to die for ;D
Looks fantastic Woody, great set up you have there and I hope that you do really well in your new venture x
Sounds like you had a good time. Congratulations on your first day, hope you have many more sucessful days ;D
Hi, tell us where you will be and when - my OH is chilli mad! :D
If you know Grantham market, we are right by the "olive man"
Awww Woody brilliant - I missed it, too busy runnin round after kids and whatnot to get to market but DO let me know when you do the next one, coz we need to stock up on your chilli products.
Have you booked grantham carnival? £50 for the weekend. I tried to book for the cards business but another trader has already done so... was thinking about doing a grantham market though instead.
All looking sooooooo professional. Well done & good luck :)
That looks great Woody! Fab website too ;D
Congartulations Woody - how easy is it to get started? I have heard that you need a certificate from Environmental Health and Public Indemnity Insurance is this true? If you could take us through the process it would be brilliant.
Ditto what Okra asked!
I want to sell my produce on market stalls so any advice would be most welcome :)
Well done that man, and your daughter in the picture seems to have enjoyed herself Woody. ;D ;D ;D
Lookin' good ;D ;D
Hi all,
been in my tunnel all afternoon, potting all my "nagas" into "asda buckets", i will tell you my story tomorrow when my back is better :P
Thanks for all your kind words
Woody
First of all i contacted my local council enviromental and licencing who came to have a look, then i contacted trading standards who take you through labels etc, then i joined the market traders federation so myself and my products are covered with insurance. Then there is the health and hygiene course (can be done online).
I was quite surprised how easy it all was to be honest, one thing i was told though which has stuck is do one thing well rather than 10 things bad, people will come back if its good ;D
take care
:P
Thanks Woody - great advice. I am looking at a couple of options at the moment.
