Isn't it great, I can get a spade into the ground again!

My OH thinks I am mad, went to the plot to dig in the rain last night as its the :) only chance I will get all week. It was just so lovely to finally be able to do something again.  Did stop when it bucketed down though!

Thank you, thank you, thank you - oh, thank you - I'm so, so, very happy to receive this award - (clutches it to heaving, sequinned bosom and sobs) - but I couldn't have done it on my own. I just want to thank my parents; their parents; my children; everyone else's parents and children; - (pauses, smiling, to wipe teardrops off chin and blow nose) - my cat; your cat; every horse that ever produced a bag of manure; Wilkinsons, Dobies and Marshalls; my local hardware shop; my postman and everyone I've ever known - but especially - (and I really mean this) - all those who rain-danced; washed cars; cleaned windows; hung out washing/duvets and arranged bbqs and other outdoor activities. Without you - (gulp) - I just couldn't have done it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I love you all.

The wind really has been a major problem for the last few days. Sorry - but sadly it's completely beyond my control. I will, however, keep all doors and windows tightly closed thereby confining it within my own four walls.

Mwahahahaha, ;D ;D ;D I too would like to add my thanks to you Grandma, East Sussex is lovely and wet, am now collecting animals 2 by 2, and saving pallets for ark building.
Only animals I have managed to collect so far though, are 2 teenagers, (could take them years just to find their way out of bed and across their "everything must be chucked randomly on the floor" bedrooms) and a couple of slugs which I trod on..........................could take me a while to fill said ark at this rate! :-\ :-\
