Title: flowering peas
Post by: debjay on May 07, 2007, 17:57:54
hi
some of our peas are starting to get some flowers on them, :( could this be because they were chewed by the pea & bean weevil or are they stressed ?
will we still get some crop ? ::)
thanx

don't panic, peas have to get flowers on, when they drop off, they have the pea pod on..your peas are fine  :)

My overwintered peas, (three plants that survived mice  ::))
have peas on them.

My thickly sown spring planted peas (safety in numbers) have all sprouted (mice moved on) they are too little for flowers yet.

Enjoy, (nice pics BTW) Col
