Do you mean to grow the flax. I think I know where you can buy cotton seed, they may have flax but it is in the US,will find the info for you if you wish.

Oh spinning, the wheel I bought is still sitting there unused, must get around to having a go XX Jeannine

Hallo Budgester , Wow!  I used to spin alot and use my wool for my own embroidery and tapesties.   Had a great time  mixing my own dyes from wild berries and flowers....priest came to visit me ...somebody had told him I was dying !    ;D    Sacks of fleece , dreft washing powder, the rhythmic  action of the carders ...the TB jab in the arm...it,s all coming back to me   :D    I even used the hair from my old Golden Retriever !  But never tried spinning flax.....this is really interesting and might even get me started again. Dont you need a tall spindle thingy for this ?  and what will you do with the spun thread ?
Linen ?  It feels wonderful  when you get the knack of such an ancient craft .  Rohaise
