Hi planted out some runner beans last week that had been started off in pots (bit early I now).
Now they are looking terrible and was just wandering if anyone new what could be a cause.

What could be the cause for this , I know it's not the end of the world but still a bit gutted. Not had any frost either.
No frost, but probably/possibly still too cold overnight?
Has it been very windy? I'd try and protect them from the elements a little if you can.
thanks for the replys gonna leave them and sow some more...It has been a bit windy now you come to mention it.
They look a bit on the under-established side to me.
And were they properly hardened off??
The cold winds...

I think it was a case of wind ::) ;D ,, or to rich manure ??
thanks for the replys will they pick up if i leave them?
our runner beans look the same as yours i'm going to leave them and hope and get some more sowing just incase
I'll plant mine straight in the soil next weekend if the weathers OK. ;D ;D ;D
