corn is ok in a GH as long as they are shaken daily when they are in flower

Alternatively, you could always grow an outdoor variety. We grow Burpless Tasty Green up poles (does not take up much space). Quite prolific.

Advantages ... we find them tastier, meatier and more digestible than greenhouse varieties

Disadvantage .. the skin is tougher (we peel them with a potato knife).

we grow the burpless in the poly, I agree about the digestibility, our grandson snaps them in half and eats them like an apple  ;D..also grow the corn in there, 7' tall, give 'em a shake, always get cobs off them  :)

I grow outdoor cucumbers as well and they're really tasty and juicy. i eat the skin, but then I do try and eat them before they get too big, I think the taste is better.

my mouth's watering now.

The cucumber seedlings are just showing their second leaves, so I've got a while to wait!

I remember recently someone mentioning the lower leaves going yellow and then paper thin and dry. The same happend to mine last year, which was unbelievably the first time I had grown one after nearly 50 years of vegetable growing. I still got about 10 cucumbers.
It was in a large 18 inch pot in the greenhouse and this year I am growing one in the soil in a greenhouse to see if there is an improvement.

I am puzzled why you would want to grow Sweetcorn in a Greenhouse? With the latest breeding, such as Lark and Swift, I have grown good crops of Sweetcorn outside in Glasgow for the last 5 or 6 years. This frees up the Greenhouse for other crops which really need the protection of the Greenhouse.
