Title: Broad Beans and other veg. Do you have trouble with pigeons?
Post by: allaboutliverpool on April 26, 2007, 21:36:58
I am not sure which is the worst, pigeons or slugs and snails.

Have a look at my page to see the damage done to my Broad Beans.

I think pigeons will destroy any soft new growth once they`ve found a
new row to start on. I think they watch me on the plot and wait `til I`ve gone
home.

I net almost everything after huge losses in the early stage, and leave bits of
wire sticking up where net is attatched to supporting frames so they can`t find
a perch.

I also have pheasants.  ::)
