Argggh there is some work that is enjoyable and some work you seem to be going round and round in circles fast!
I am trying to do my section of the school learning platform and its driving me insane. I have excelelnt pc skills but no matter what i do i cannot work this darn programme to my advantage.
I even started to not use the programme (uniservity) and copy over word documents and drop them in but then my images dont show - though i have seen other members of staff do it and theirs works fine. I am sure this programme hates me as much as i hate it - where's moogle when you need it lol.
Sorry if this doesnt make sense but i need to rant as i have a deadline! Of course if it does make sense then please HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Sorry, OliveOil, can't help I'm afraid, but just wanted to give you some moral support. Is it worth restarting your computer? Am not much good solving technological problems, I'm afraid.

Yeah kinda - Virtual Learning environment... its not the pc thats the problem, its the programme. Theoretically i should be able to copy text and images from say a word file and paste it into the text boxes in the programme but it aint playing ball. Also everytime i go on it has a spaz attack, earlier all the text was in some code. it just drives me insane!

Can anyone tell me how I get my USB ports to work again. I had an update at work again today which had to 'Fixed ' again and now I have no usb ports, I can only use the touch pad gismo on my laptop. No mouse no printer and no, IT tech till Wednesday AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGg XX Jeannine

I fully sympathise with you, being a techy in a school, we looked at uniservity and run away, using moodle which is a lot nicer (well from my point of view any way).
Jeannine - you will need to wait for techy i'm afraid. I know at work our pc's arent set up to take USB unless techy allows it. Very annoying when we are maxed out memory wise and we can't use the usb's!

I usually give the USB port a very firm tap with a large sledge hammer. It still doesn't work, but, boy, do I feel better ;D

Well Caroline I was at that point last night, trying to work with the daft pad on the laptop. We bought a new house computer a few months ago but I have not used it as I transport my lap top backwards and forwards to work, but I am on the new one as we speak.I haven't got it set up for me but am on Johns part. OH on his last week foodshopping (hopefully) brought home a digi camera from morrisons£29 my heart sank as i am required to do the tech bit at the pc ???
simple plug and play it said get preview on the camera and it comes up on the screen did it eck so had daughter round she fiddled for a bit and took it home to try on hers, s-i-l is now really smug !! it seems preview is what our other camera calls review :-X when he brought it back i said "i knew i was right " he gave me a puzzled look then i said i knew i was right i,d done something stupid ;D
