Title: pinching out!!???

can any one help? i pulled the two big leaves off my cuc plant as i thought this was pinching out?? sorry to be so dumb! it just wilted the next day!! my 1st year on lottie by the way as if u never gussed!!

anything left in the middle, or growing point, if you can see some shoots, you may be ok, if not, plant another one..we all learn by doing daft things  ;D

the stem is there!! oh well, i bought the plant anyway, my seeds have turned into small plants about 2 inches, is there anything  i need to do??

wait a while, the plants will come on..I've transplanted mine into bigger pots,four days ago,  the roots were starting to come out the bottom ..they've really come on since then  :)

leave them 'til after the frosts..I just keep putting them in bigger pots then
dig a hole, fill it with muck, cover and make a mound with the soil, plant on the top of the mound, only a slight one, it keeps the neck dry, they're prone to rotting off..hope this helps
possibly someone else will have more ideas  :)

na, they don't need the mound, just a stake to hold them up, and pinching the side shoots out, hope you get a good harvest  :)

Another question about pinching out.    Why do we pinch out sweet peas and not garden peas?    :-\
Probably a daft question but would just like to know..........
