Was getting all excited about trying to get the last of the glastonbury tickets tomorrow at 9am... then just read that you had to register by March - grrrrrrr they didnt say that in January!
It's become a nightmare since you have to pay for them Olive! Oh, yes, you always did have to pay!!! Whoops! ::)
This year the ticketing has been a nightmare, we've given up on Glasto for a bit, doing the rounds of all the smaller ones like Llama tree. No big names really but that lovely festy feeling and cheeeeeep! (er)
Always brings back good memories though thinking of all those Glastos past! How the locals enjoy it. :-\ I do feel so sorry for them, they always look so weary and tolerant.
Ah well we will definitely be going to Strawberry Fair at Cambridge this year - I've been wanting to for about 3 years but as we only live 40 minutes away we have no excuse!
That looks lovely Olive. I love that sort of thing, might pop along myself! :)
I'm so glad i got the opportunity to go to Glast before all this palarver started.
I've been 3 times (and always paid for my ticket i might add). but 2000 was a bit of a nightmare. i can see the reasoning behind the security but it just isn't glast anymore, or not how it should be anyway.
everyone up here just raves about T in the park, i couldn't think of anything worse. think i'll just stick the tent up in the back garden for Glasto week. ;D
If you like smaller events you might want to check out http://www.hillsarts.co.uk/themusiccamp/index.html
Couldn't agree more MrsKP - T in the park looks awful. Just doesn't have the festy spirit. ;)
