Wow! lovely pics and surely that is quite amazing - isn't it? :o
H.P.
wow i have metor but i did not plant till feb!
ok, now you are just showing off! :o... ;D
I'm worried...we only planted ours a couple of weeks ago! :-\
My first Twinkle set this weekend (must grab a pic), but the Meteor I planted after is growing better.
I've stuck another row of Meteor the other side of the netting but they're not up yet. There's a few gaps in the row of Twinkles, and must plant the "spares" out to fill the row soon.
Can't wait to have a chomp.
;D
Wow thats early!!!! isnt it?
Only just sown my peas at the weekend
Beat ya!
Picked my first pod last night!!! ;D
Planted them in the g/house border in October (on Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's advice), Kelvedon Wonder they are. They'll be done by the time the toms are ready to go in, and will help to feed them apparently..
Good old Hugh ;D I'll try that next year, thanks Robin!
My dwarf pea ped is up!!! NO STICKS REQUIRED .... HOORAY!
MMMM I kind of agree that this really is showing off. To chlodonnay, don't worry, that's the result of a very pampered treatment! If you are an outdoors planter like me, you will just have planted or will just have your baby plants coming up, like me. But peas are so yummy, I have planted loads and some sugarsnaps too. I am sure we will have no trouble eating them!
OK, it is a little bit of showing off, it's the first time I've tried it and there aren't enough to be useful.
BUT I'm pleased with it, and I'll be doing it again next year on a slightly larger scale. :)
And I haven't put any outdoors yet...
Robin!
Don't care if it's showing off or not! I'm envious of your peas 8)
Mine are 3 to 8inches up and the ones straight in the ground are just 1/2 inch up. ;D ;D ;D
no way ! how exciting - I want to rush out and look at mine, but can't get there til the w/e ...
Ours are hardening off in the frame and will hit the soil this weekend hopefully!
