My first Twinkle set this weekend (must grab a pic), but the Meteor I planted after is growing better.

I've stuck another row of Meteor the other side of the netting but they're not up yet.  There's a few gaps in the row of Twinkles, and must plant the "spares" out to fill the row soon.

Can't wait to have a chomp.

;D

Beat ya!

Picked my first pod last night!!!  ;D

Planted them in the g/house border in October (on Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's advice), Kelvedon Wonder they are. They'll be done by the time the toms are ready to go in, and will help to feed them apparently..

MMMM I kind of agree that this really is showing off. To chlodonnay, don't worry, that's the result of a very pampered treatment! If you are an outdoors planter like me, you will just have planted or will just have your baby plants coming up, like me. But peas are so yummy, I have planted loads and some sugarsnaps too. I am sure we will have no trouble eating them!

OK, it is a little bit of showing off, it's the first time I've tried it and there aren't enough to be useful.

BUT I'm pleased with it, and I'll be doing it again next year on a slightly larger scale.  :)

And I haven't put any outdoors yet...
