How do you cope?

Ours is pH 7.5 throughout. And yet Potatoes do well.

Mine is about pH6-6.5 according to a pH meter which may or may not be accurate. Everything grows quite happily, so I don't do anything to modify it at all.

I've never tested my soil - but living in Cornwall I guess our soil is as acid as they come.

Most things grow here ok - anything that's not I put down to my inexperience. (this is my 3rd year at growing veg).

No Tim, not here in Bournemouth. It's more limey if anything, like the tap water. Buy a new kettle here and within a fortnight you're descaling it.  :(

Don't remember the water - last time I was in B'mouth was in 1928 - at The Old Ride School, Branksome Park. Watched the Review of the Fleet.

We had a fleet then, too. Must have been impressive.
