Title: Hyssop
Post by: Good Gourd2 on April 14, 2007, 21:12:18
Does anyone know what you can use Hyssop for, I intended to get Borage but did not see any at the right time, so I settled for Hyssop thinking that it would attract the bees it would be nice if one could use it  in cooking  but it looks pretty on the packet.

You could still plant borage, it's a fast-growing annual.

According to my book you can use the flowers in salads and the leaves (very sparingly) in stews, other meat dishes, stuffings or salads.  It has a slightly bitter, minty taste.
