TeeGee

Yes! they are standard B&Q ones that I buy at a 10% discount on a Wednesday using my old gits card.

Last year they were £4.78 and for two months reduced to £3.78 both less 10%, ie £3.40 each. This year they are £5.98 each...a rip off, thang goodness I do not need any more.

I find the quality of the wood good so that coach screws hold well in the endgrain.

Looking great but surely decking wood is an expensive material to use?

very nice!

my compost bin is made using the old fashioned way with pallets.

But next year i do want to start again and make a hot composter, and something to hold leaf, maure and wood chips.

But at the moment these all go into a communal pile very fresh and its help yourself.

I am picking up some manure tuesday for my asparagus bed as i aint got anything aged to back fill with.....

No, sorry, you need to come to my plot in Dorset and build them all over again.  ;D
They are lovely, (you can tell I'm bitten can't you? A lovely compost bin  ::)
I am also thinking decking wood must be quite expensive, but then, how long would it last? That stuff's got to be pretty hardwearing i suppose. Was thinking of pallets for mine but they look great.

Any wood would do, pallets are great, it is merely the idea that I am sharing. Not only are they flexible insomuch as they can be raised or lowered as the situation alters with regards to shrinkage as stuff rots, but also they can be moved to another part of the plot if you redesign things. Mine moved about 3 times until I was satisfied.

I gave them a liberal coat of fence paint.
