Our daughter is doing A level archaeology and google earth is brilliant!
Only problem is that we have a trailer tent in our front garden that we got rid of 4 or 5 years ago and where our plot is the plot opposite is all very nicely laid out but today it is all overgrown and has been for a few years. I just wish tehy would update it
I used it when i was doing "une visite à Paris" with my second years. We zoomed in on all the sites. They loved it.
Actually, this was the first that I stumbled upon yesterday -
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&z=14&ll=55.056447,-6.886024&spn=0.03515,0.079823&t=k&om=1&msid=107644309622026188079.00000111ccbed566ca68a
(It only shows a bit of the map??)
I find Google Earth a bit frustrating; it never shows any detail of the bits I want to look at! But it's good when it does have the detail.
Great toy, my eldest girl loves it. I do wish they'd update it though.
Me too! We changed our car specially! ;D ;)
(only kidding! :P
