Title: Two visitors today - neither with any manners!

Hi.  Whilst taking a few snaps of my spring bulbs today I spotted a starling enjoying an apple I'd put out.  He turned his back on me as I took the picture.  Then I disturbed one of the frogs and I think you can tell by his right fore leg what he felt about that!   ;D  G x

It doesn't surprise me in the least!

STARLINGS: They are nice to look at when they're strutting around your garden but they're machiavellian little boyds  ;D

You put food out for them and they s**t in your sugar bowl on the kitchen table if you inadvertantly leave the door open.

FROGS: Yeah well, that picture with its two froggy-fingers up says it all!

You carefully rear frogspawn and watch the ickle tadpoles grow. And then they all hop away when they've got legs and don't come back. Ungrateful little sods!

Don't get me started on human children!

Come and have a bath at our house, they nest under the gutters in the bargeboards, I think that's what they're called, sounds like 10 rats going up and down up and down when they're feeding the youngsters.
Don't really mind though, assume they'll eat any crawlies around up there.  :)

Trixie you do make me laugh!  My daughter came around today with her one month old baby who was being a bit grizzly.  I was giving baby a rock and a hug (as you do when you know they are just fighting sleep) and telling her that I wasn't fooled and she might as well stop it now.  At which point my daughter came up to me and said:  Mum, stop talking to her like a human being there's no point.   :o  ::)  ;D

Ninny. is that a genuine offer?  ;)

More than welcome Georgie if you come down to the Weald , but if you want the full experience it has to been about this time of year!   ;D ;D ;D
