Great photos - I know exactly how you feel.  I've not got an allotment but a veg patch in the back garden and I've been busy planting potatoes and onions today and its so rewarding to look back at the end of the day and see how much you've achieved. :D

PS I see what you mean about chicken wire support for peas - that's one of my jobs for tomorrow!!

whats the green netting on your raised beds manics? i have just ordered some debris netting off ebay (couldnt afford enviromesh). is that  what you are using?

yes, sarah, we've got a friend who gave us some, beauty of it is, if it rips, sew it up with fishing wire..guess what ray's been doing this week ?  ;D
