Have not sown any yet am I to late. Not a chilli grower normally so a little new to this.
Thanks

It is a tad late....but if you can give them protection
at the end of the growing season they will give you fruit.
Chillies require a long growing period :D :D
Sowed mine yesterday.
For cold 'house growing, I sow up to mid MAY.
I will sow some more next week to prolong the season. I still have one in flower and fruits since last year! Moved it into the conservatory and it has continued all winter through!
Still waiting for mine to germinate :(
I'm with Tim on this one. I'm not growing them this year cos I've still bags of the things in the freezer, but I grow in pots in the greenhouse and would normally be sowing them now. I usually germinate them on top of the combi-boiler tho. I grow Apache & haven't found that they need a specially long growing period before fruiting.
Well I'm hoping to start sowing next week. ::) :o :P

Great idea Alishka - I will try that, I've had mine next to a radiator but on top of the combi will be a bit warmer.
Hi Snail
I bought some 'early jalapeno' seeds from real seeds that are supposed to do well in colder climates - I am hoping they will be good for our baltic weather in Stanley, maybe they will be good for a late sowing
Thanks everyone for the advice. I have tried jalapenoes last year with not alot of sucsess. Like I said I am a bit of a newbie at peppers. Last year was my first year and not very good so this year I have decided to try again with chilli and bell peppers. I will get sowing straight away.
Thanks
