Wow,
That was worth waiting for! Fantastic. I've had a go at pick and mix, added some extras and it's ready to go again. Walked the dog to the post office this afternoon and found it closed. Will send it tomorrow morning, not going too far, from Staffordshire to Derbyshire.
Thanks Jeannine.
Sand
I'm sure i'm in this blue parcel do I have to wait much longer?????? Today I saw big brown envelope and thought great it arrived but it wasn't.
You are in Rosyred, but we are only half way through. XX Jeannine
Mr Sand here, the boss is at work.
Blue parcel winging its way to Derbyshire this morning.

Come on Blues, the reds are pulling ahead.... XX Jeannine
Parcel is on the move again, you are catching up GO BLUES XX Jeannine
Hip hip hooray, the Blue parcel came today ;D ;D.
I 'mugged' the postman as he came into the school where I work (I live just up the road so we have the same postie) and he said "is this your parcel you've been waiting for?" I was so excited and couldn't wait for lunchtime to have a look through. I got some funny looks in the Staffroom from 'non gardeners' though, it's such a shame that there's not many people where I work that share this wonderful hobby!
Anyway, the parcel is now ready to go the Post Office tomorrow and be sent First Class to ....................................Hexham ;D ;D.
Linda x
Hi Linda, I know what you mean about the funny looks.I thought everyone in our staffroom but would be thrilled that I got TWO tractor loads of manure, I was so surprised to discover they were not!! Strange people eh? XX Jeannine
the woman we get the horse manure from is popping up to the plot next week for a cuppa she has just bought another pony which means more muck!"!
Ooh I'm in Hexham.... will it be waiting for me when I get home from work?? ;D
Jeannine, the parcel was waiting for me when I got home at lunchtime- as my OH said, it was like Xmas for me. Many, many thanks. The parcel will be on its way again tomorrow. Carole xx
Well done Blue, red are only once step in front of you XXX Jeannine
Parcel will be posted at lunchtime ...... heading toward an eco-friendly place to cross a river...! ;D
Thanks for keeping us up to date XX Jeannine
On the road again !!!! You are all doing so well, such super quick turnarounds. well done blue , you are right on their tails. XXXX Jeannine
oops. guess what turned up at my house today...yep the blue parcel, it was sent to me as it shows my name as the orignal sender.Strange really as the person who it was going to was clearly marked on the package. Anyway I changed the labels and it has just left Hull straight away. Back on the road again. but it has just lost a day so come on Blues you will need to be superquick to beat off the reds now. XX Jeannine
Blue parcel arrived safe and sound in sunny Barnsley this morning. Will turn around asap. Thought I had sown my last.......but maybe not.
Many thanks Jeannine - great idea. Lovely selection folks.
Nicola aka Princescruffster
Blue parcel all sealed up and will be winging its way to....................the posh bit of Liverpool (I've been reliably informed???) ???
Lots of goodies left. Enjoy
Thank you for the update XX Jeannine
Any idea where it is now ???
I have not had confirmation yet that it has been received from the last posting mentioned above. XX Jeannine
The parcel is on the move again,...hoping the next person enjoys to to, but please don't be contrary !!!
XX Jeannine
Oh dear, think that's me! Got home to find a red card through the door - can't pick it up till Monday :(
Oh my dear the agony of a whole weekend !!! XX Jeannine
As I said red card through the door on Saturday. Popped to the sorting office at lunchtime - half an hour wait! Got parcel - nice new envelope I thought - got home & opened it very carefully to reuse & out came all these wonderful seed packets - I was gobsmacked - what wonderful seeds I thought & all whole packets - then the penny dropped - not the Blue Parcel but my order from T & M!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Silly me. ;D ;D ;D
Blue parcel on it's way again to it's final call before home! :)
Thank you for the update, hope you had fun with it XXX Jeannine
The Blue parcel has arrived home tired and very much smaller than when it left. The very few seeds left in it have been sent to somone in need so the seeds left in have been donated to a good cause.
Good, I was wondering what you were going to do with the leftovers. Thank you very much for organising this round Jeannine, it's great fun & a really good way of getting and giving spare seeds. :)
yes it was great of you to do this!
I think we need to do this again after christmas when people are starting to plan for 2008!
Cambourne7
I think maybe it would be nice to let everyone know how some of the seed you had from the seed swap is getting on.
I had some Strawberry popcorn seed. I had about 50% germination. I planted them out yesterday, in a flower bed in my front garden , as it is the furthest place from the other variety in my back garden.
I also had some globe artichoke seeds. They germinated really well, and are now about 4 inches high and are on the lottie.
So, what did you get, and how is it doing?
cj :)
