Post by: cambourne7 on March 31, 2007, 18:44:17
Hi Guys,

Just been up to the site for the first time in 2 weeks,

Rhubarb is great, onions are going well, galic is growing great.

BUT

It looks like by broccoli and cabbage has gone to seed and i dont know what to do, do i leave them to go to seed all the way and save the seed or pull the stuff out?

HELP

Well, and this is only theory that I have read about, you cut the tops off the plants, cut a cross on the remaining stumps.  They should then start to produce new growth.  As I say, only theory I have read about, but nothing ventured, nothing gained!!

we've done it with cabbage, leave a stump about 3" tall, cut a cross, we got about 4 small loose cabbage from them,
