Hi people just wandered if any of you had created any easter bonnets for your kids or grandkids this year.
My son started nusery in september so this was my 1st attempt at helping him make one.
My GF wanted me to do the same old easter chicks stuck to a hat etc ......but me and Ellis came up with our own creation.

Ill let you now how our bonnet does.
Have any of you made anything for easter?
I think that's brilliant, hope you win ;D
Awwww, that's great. I hope he wins.
My two are too old for the Easter bonnet parade this year (12 and 8), they only do it in infants, but I have to confess, I abslutely HATED making Easter bonnets and was so glad to get them into the juniors just so that I didn't have any more Easter bonnets to make ;D
Jo.
Fab! This year we made nest bonnets, they've gone off to school so no pic. Half a paper bowl covered in brown felt, with wool inside for nest lining. Polystyrene eggs, yellow chicks and tissue flowers. UHU onto a paper (plastic, better shape) plate and use split pins to fix on some ribbon to tie under chin!
As you say, virtually everyone else came in with chicks on straw hat so v pleased with our astounding originality. Hope he wins bless him! That said, it's the naughty kids who win everything at my kids school. Good for them apparently! ::)
Brrilliant, bb!
Awwww. bb.......how did it go? ;D
Been thinking a lot about Ellis lately.....him'n'Toot (heldi's little girl) for me are our Young Lotties4 mascots....hope he's having a great time....and that hat....WOW!!!
Now that is a hat to be proud of! Our sprogs school were going to have an Easter Bonnet parade, but with all the other schooling commitments, they ran out of time. :-[
I help out at a fancy dress hire, and we did`nt have enough Easter Bunny costumes, so there was a sort of dog the right colour but the head was wrong it looked more like a Sweep. changed it into a rabbit today.
