Title: Straggly tomato seedlings
Post by: Barnowl on March 28, 2007, 13:57:47
The lady in our local cheese shop showed me her tomato seedlings which had grown very long and straggly. They looked clean / disease fee so I suggested planting them up to the seed leaves - was I right or should I tell her to start again?

sounds right to me!

I did the same at the weekend with mine but then left them in the plastic greenhouse rather than bringing them inside... they look fine though I expect they will take longer to take hold outside. I might bring them in at the weekend.
