A couple of days ago my wife bought me three tomato plants from a charity stall at my daughters dance school.
They were just marked with simple labels - kenilworth, yellow, and sungold.
I know of the last one: sungold, but has anyone any ideas about the others? Needless to say, these three plants will swell the already massive tomato jungle I am rapidly growing :D
Here's hoping they all fruit well!
Kenilworth is an old variety going back to it`s discovery growing on the pitch at Luton-the fruit is the size of a football.
Yellow-this is more difficult to trace but most `experts` seem to agree it relates to the colour of the fruit.
Sungold is delicious
;) ;)
