I am thinking of sowing some rows of soybeans. Can anybody tell me how ore what you do that,or if it is a problem in ouwer climate overhere?
Well, I have sowed a tray of Ustie soybeans from Thompson & Morgan. I believe they need a long season to ripen. Apart from that and what's on the back of the packet, I know nothing.
I think that the UK climate is reckoned to be about on the limit for soya at the moment, but give it a few more years and we'll be OK (partly climate change, mostly new varieties). I'm not sure if you would get away with it, but started off under glass it's probably worth a try.
I sowed them today and i will see whats happening,i think you got to have a little luck with the wetter.
I too fancy growing soybeans but does anybody know where you can buy soybean seed from in the uk?
Hi anaxi, thompson&morgan has got one variaty of soybean, just raised for a short saison.
