Just noticed today, mine are in bud.
;D
Mine aren't. Poop. :P
not quite in bud...............but ours are getting there!
I love freesias, I wanted them for my wedding bouquet but we were married in July so had roses instead..never managed to grow them, the slugs always eat them as soon as they grow :( :)
I'm a bit gobsmacked to be honest. At this time of year they're usually just coming up and don't start flowering till mid summer. It looks like these flowers will be open by Easter. :o
Eeeeek trust you. I haven't even planted mine yet! ;D :o ::)

These are LAST years!!!
;D ;D ;D
Did you leave them in over-winter then? I thought they were frost-tender.

Thought the frost only gets the foliage - the corms are ok for me as long as I don't let them stay wet. Mine are in a pot in a sheltered spot although I'm a lot further North than you Georgie
Thanks for that Froglets. I'll leave mine in their pots this year then and see how they get on. :)

Yup, half of mine didn't come up last year. I thought I'd lost 'em, but there they are!
I also thought the corms were only good for one season. If only I'd known - the number I've thrown out!
I now have a theory, though (stand well back!) - I think it depends on the size and maturity of the corms. I reckon that, like bulbs, they need to reach a certain stage before they'll flower. Hence my no-shows last year popping up now.
And in future, I'll also ignore the pack instructions about the corms beng treated to last only one season.
Better go now, I feel another theory coming on...
;D
