Title: Aubergines
Post by: Tin Shed on March 24, 2007, 16:52:50
I need to prick out my aubergines seedlings, which are becoming a bit leggy. Can I plant them in deeply, to the first set of leaves, like toms?

I asked this very question here (http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/joomla/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,57/topic,28509.0) a month ago.  I went ahead and planted them deeply up to the seed leaves, and have very healthy sturdy plants.

(Search is working again at last, btw.)

Couldn't see why it wouldn't work...

Many thanks - deep planting it is then.
