Having suffered two weeks of constant rain it seems the peas (hurst Green shaft) loved it! only 4 weeks from sowing to 9" high! could be a bumper crop ;)

P'raps the piccie is just making sure that you harvest the peas early enough to get the sweetest ones  ;D

After the spud episode, the sight must make you feel a little more optimistic. Me! Well I prefer frozen peas to garden ones, unless of course they are eaten straight from the plant as a sweet.

COR!  Mega impressed yet again this afternoon, first the water melon, now these peas!  Mine are tatty thanks to the pigeons, yours look absolutely fabaroonee Chaz, bet you are chuffed!
