Title: Early Spuds

Hi
Was going to plant me early spuds last weekend, but weather change for worse,
now i notice there getting wrinkle skin,are they ok to still plant?
my first growing year on allotment

A couple of mine were wrinkled, think it's the shoots starting to feed on the seed potato.  I put mine in a couple of weeks ago and hedged my bets by planting any wrinkled ones a bit closer together in case one of them might fail. Might be worth you getting them in the ground as soon as you can.

Don't think that skin wrinkling will be a problem, mine aren't going in yet as the soil is still too wet and cold. Just keep them well ventilated and frost free, they'll be ok.
