Title: Nice day tomorrow.
Post by: shirlton on March 16, 2007, 13:12:34
It's gonna be a lovely day here in Brum tomorrow. According to the forcast it's gonna turn cold. We are all going to the allotment for the day like we did last week. Taking me old mom again. She kept the kids amused so that we could get a bit more work done. Two more of Tracy's kids are coming .(I think they must have heard that I made some cakes last week).Gonna be busy baking this afternoon to fill their hungry bellies.I hope you all have a lovely day whatever you plan to do

enjoy your day tomorrow, the only way a day at the lottie can possibly be improved is with cake ;)

I'm hoping to get a few hours in tomorrow afternoon, before the Artic winds arrive.
supposed to be cold and miserable on Sunday so we'll be off to the new B&Q â€" apparently they have "special opening offers" so will be thoroughly investigating the gardening section ;D

Enjoy your day shirlton, make the most of it cos as you say the weather is going to turn pretty bleak next week by the sounds of it.
BTW, I do think you should share those cakes with your lottie mates  :D :D

Thats the trouble with PSB you have to put so much in to get a decent amount of flowers. We only had the plot last June and we put about 10 plants in , Up to now weve only had 2 meals out of it. Good job we have rabbits cos they love the leaves. I do cut them with along stem so that we have a bit more but I think I'm gonna have to find a way to cook the leaves to make it worthwhile Perhaps someone knows of a variety that throws more shoots. I will continue to grow it cos its so lovely. Better than the green. Try talking to it Mags and let me know if it works
